Hypnotherapy

A state of hypnosis is something that we all experience every day when we first wake up and when we are just drifting off to sleep. It is a state of altered awareness. This natural state of being can be utilised to access the subconscious mind and to facilitate changes to thoughts, feelings and behaviours. The approach utilises the same areas of the brain that we use to create dreams and process information as we sleep.

How Hypnotherapy can help you

The subconscious mind quickly and easily accepts suggestions (in line with the difficulties you wish to change) as the seemingly logical self-talk you may often have that actually hinders change is bypassed. Physical conditions that are exascerbated by stress responses can also respond incredibly well to a hypnotherapeutic approach. An assessment session will have a larger proportion of time taking information about your difficulties but will offer twenty to thirty minuntes of hypnosis to begin to tackle these. you will also be provided with a CD of your initial session free of charge to continue to benefit from the work conducted during your appointment.

CDa are available for ongoing sessions at a price of £9.99. You will also be taught self-hypnosis on your first session to allow you to begin to present your own positive suggestions to your subconscious mind.
